Citi Private Bank is a trusted advisor to the world’s wealthiest, most influential individuals and families. Citi Private Bank clients receive bespoke services and access to global solutions, tailored to their unique needs. The Business Developers role is to develop relationships with ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) clients within their geographic coverage market. This role is for our Nordics team, to be based in Sweden. UHNW is defined as clients with USD 25+ million Net Worth.
Responsibilities
Develop and Build Client relationships: Serve as a key relationship contact for the Private Bank's clients, focusing on social engagement, relationship management, and business development through introductory and marketing activities.
Product Presentation and Information Provision: Conduct general presentations and pitch products, providing comprehensive information on products and services.
Teamwork: help team members to acquire the experience necessary to establish credibility with clients and intermediaries.
Build & Maintain Relationships with all Business Partners: maintain strong relationships with product partners and support functions across the Private Bank's global hubs.
Promote Integrity and Trust: maintain a thorough understanding of the general terms, risks, and critical parameters associated with the Private Bank's capabilities.
Knowledge/Experience
Proven experience in UHNW Private Banking or the institutional/corporate banking market, specifically covering the Nordics market.
Demonstrated track record in relationship acquisition.
Ability to drive complex transactions.
Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of regulatory and compliance aspects of the private banking role; and to be able to diligence clients' businesses and sources of wealth.
Extensive experience in selling new products, based on client needs.
Experience in working on teams and influencing diverse resources and stakeholders.
Skills
Fluent English (written and spoken) as well as either Swedish, Danish, Finnish or Norwegian language skills.
Excellent relationship building skills.
Thrives in a business development environment.
Strong IT skills.
Creative and innovative.
Able to mult‑task and prioritise.
Strong awareness of risk and compliance.
