About the role:
Boston Scientific's Field Marketing Manager accelerates the adoption of key products in the assigned region through market development, patient awareness and education, and patient access initiatives. The role collaborates with key customers to position BSC as the partner of choice and works closely with Territory and Regional Executives to execute marketing tactics that increase the number of patients treated with BSC therapies.
Your Responsibilities will include:
Increase referring physician and patient awareness of disease states and treatment options.
Identify unique local market opportunities to increase therapy and product awareness, including PR, patient advocacy, and hospital marketing partnerships.
Conduct patient education seminars and community outreach programs.
Evaluate and implement co‑marketing programs (using approved guidelines).
Provide patient advocates via in‑person and cloud visits, and identify suitable patient advocates as needed.
Conduct in‑office patient education tutorials.
Develop and implement targeted patient outreach initiatives.
Collaborate with counterparts to drive Physician Health Talks between prosthetic urologists and referring physicians.
Enable patient access to the right implanter.
Address local market issues that limit patient access to trained implanters, ensuring patients can access the right implanters.
Recommend best practices to implanters that improve efficiency and patient care.
Share best practices with customers to improve practice efficiency and patient flow.
Increase awareness and acceptance of BSC Practice Management resources.
Share non‑clinical literature of interest to prosthetic urologists.
Identify other areas where BSC should develop and share best practices that improve efficiency.
Partner closely with territory managers and region managers in the assigned geographies.
Provide minimal clinical case/OR support.
Required Qualifications:
BA or BS degree.
5 years' experience in sales, account management, advertising/marketing, or promotions.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Experience with sales and marketing databases is a plus.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated business partnering skills.
Ability to build immediate rapport.
Detail‑oriented and highly organized.
Creative, persistent, analytical thinker.
Self‑driven and able to work independently.
75% travel required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Pharma sales and medical device experience preferred.
Compensation:
The anticipated annualized base amount for this full‑time position will be $95,000 to $115,000, plus variable compensation governed by the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan and core and optional benefits offered at BSC.
