Job Title
Support website migration, administration, and customer engagement activities for WordPress-based web platforms.
Manage and coordinate website migrations while ensuring SEO preservation, content integrity, accessibility compliance, and successful transition of site functionality.
Assess website functionality requirements and recommend solutions using available platform features, plugins, and supported alternatives.
Collaborate directly with customers to gather requirements, explain technical concepts, and support migration planning activities.
Apply accessibility best practices and identify issues related to WCAG compliance during website migrations and updates.
Coordinate DNS and domain configuration activities including custom domains, subdomains, and site URL validation.
Prioritize migration projects based on site complexity, institutional impact, and audience reach.
Support intake management, migration tracking, documentation, reporting, and communication activities across teams and stakeholders.
Collaborate with vendors, technical teams, and end users to troubleshoot issues and ensure successful project execution.
Responsibilities

Experience
3–5 years of experience managing WordPress-based websites and migrations.
Experience with website migration planning and execution.
Experience working with customer-facing web support activities.
Skills
Strong expertise with WordPress content management systems.
Knowledge of SEO preservation and redirect strategies.
Understanding of accessibility standards and WCAG guidelines.
Knowledge of DNS concepts and domain configuration.
Strong customer communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple migration projects.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Familiarity with Git or version control systems.
Should Have
Experience with Git or similar version control systems.
Experience supporting deployment workflows and web hosting platforms.
Qualification And Education
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field is preferred.
