HII’s Mission Technologies division is seeking a detail-oriented, highly creative Graphics Designer to support the Department of War Chief Information Officer (CIO). The designer will capture and visually communicate various initiatives and priorities related to telecommunications and spectrum policy work.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Conceive, design, lay out, and coordinate editorial illustrations and creative artwork.

Develop interpretive themes that convey ideas and information.

Create graphic presentations that communicate mood, emphasis, insight, viewpoint, and similar visual impressions.

Provide guidance on graphic technology.

Work closely with EMSEPP leaders to understand requirements and create cost‑efficient graphic designs through available mediums.

Provide computer graphic services for web artwork.

Minimum Qualifications

AA or equivalent 2‑year technical degree in a related discipline and 0 years experience; or HS diploma and 3 years related experience may be substituted for AA degree.

No prior spectrum or telecommunications experience required.

Strong communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Collaborative team player willing and eager to learn.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a structured environment.

Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Physical Requirements

Office or industrial environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances during site surveys. Lifting and moving of materials not to exceed the guidelines set for one‑man lift. Must be able to perform site surveys and carry a laptop computer.
