Government Relations Director

Seeking a full-time Government Relations Director, this remote position will manage relationships with approximately 300 government agencies, direct lobbyists, and craft strategies to foster cooperative interactions with governmental bodies.
Key responsibilities:

Engage regularly with various government agencies to facilitate communication and collaboration
Oversee and direct the efforts of lobbyists to align with organizational goals
Develop and implement strategic initiatives for effective government relations

Required qualifications:

Proven experience in building and leading an internal government relations team
Strong advocacy skills with a track record of maintaining relationships with legislators and regulators
In-depth knowledge of legislative and regulatory processes, including policy-making mechanics
Ability to formulate long-term policy strategies and execute advocacy plans
Experience in leading multi-state legislative or regulatory policy campaigns
