Government Relations Director

To advocate for legislative and regulatory interests, the full-time Government Relations Director will develop and implement strategies, cultivate relationships with policymakers, and monitor relevant developments, primarily based in Atlanta, GA.
Key responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive government relations strategies aligned with company objectives
Cultivate relationships with elected officials and key stakeholders while advocating for TriNet's policy positions
Monitor and assess legislative and regulatory developments, proposing solutions to public policy issues affecting the company

Required qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
Typically 15+ years of relevant experience in government relations, public policy, or advocacy campaigns
Strong network of established relationships with elected officials and key stakeholders
Excellent political acumen and understanding of legislative processes at various government levels
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects
