A Brief Overview
Acts as a Field Marketing professional visiting agencies in the assigned territory. Responsible for monitoring and fostering agency relationships within the territory. Monitors new binding activity and renewal retention for assigned agents. Provides marketing information on product opportunities, transaction processes, and answers basic inquiries regarding Property & Casualty products. Helps set agency‑level goals and maintains a high level of product knowledge.

What will you do?

Work with agents: Visit agencies in the assigned territory; conduct virtual visits; maintain agency relationships; provide consultative marketing strategy; offer detailed production data to educate agencies on product opportunities.

Problem solving: Serve as primary point of contact for agents; answer questions and resolve issues; refer complex matters to senior marketing representatives or management.

Agency visit preparation: Schedule visits; run reports and analyze production data relative to goals; prepare marketing materials.

Product knowledge: Maintain product knowledge; train agents on products and online tools; identify opportunities for new business.

Market information: Communicate issues raised by agents and market changes; review underwriting files; consult with underwriters.

Attend conventions and industry functions: Maintain visibility; present new products; possibly co‑travel with underwriters.

Add new agencies: Identify and assess prospective agencies for appointment.

Ongoing training: Continue studying marketing practices; attend training; enhance communication skills; stay current with industry news.

Education
Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.

Experience
Seven or more years of related work experience.

Advance marketing and sales skills

Insurance terminology

Microsoft Office Suite

Company guidelines on acceptability and profitability for applications, accounts, and policies

Preferred Knowledge

Department practices and procedures

Manuals, policy coverages, endorsements, etc.
