Summary
Manages and implements strategic program plans. Oversight of complex program(s), department and/or grant level responsibilities or multiple components of an overall program/department/grant.

(A “Program” refers to carrying out a specific service or specific activity within a department or the district.)

Minimum Requirements

Master’s Degree AND Two (2) years of experience administering or coordinating programs. OR bachelor's degree AND Six (6) years of experience administering or coordinating programs. OR Ten (10) years of progressive experience administering or coordinating programs.

Three (3) years supervisory experience.

Proven expertise of federal and state legislative requirements related to specific program, department or grant.

Requirements Prior To Start Date

FBI fingerprint background check.

Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

Preferred Qualifications

Arizona Administrative Certificate, or eligibility to obtain such certification

Doctorate degree

Experience or training in both elementary and secondary education.

Experience in supportive service plans and programs including special education and experience with or knowledge of programmatic reviews and revisions using data collection and stakeholder collaboration.

Bilingual - Spanish/English

Location: Exceptional Education Department - Sites vary

Classification: Non-Bargaining

FTE: 1.0 – 8 hours per day

Work Calendar: 12 months

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.

Salary will be prorated if the start date is after the first day of the work calendar for the position.

Internal candidates will transfer at a rate commensurate with their bargaining unit language.
