Marketing Delivery Manager - Adobe Journey Builder

Truist is seeking a detail-oriented and execution-focused Marketing Delivery Manager to support the development, deployment, and optimization of customer communications using Adobe Journey Builder (Adobe Journey Optimizer / AJO) and batch email campaign builds. This role sits within the Marketing Delivery team and is responsible for translating marketing strategies into high-quality, compliant, and timely outbound campaigns across channels.
Key Responsibilities Journey Builder Execution Build, configure, and deploy customer journeys in Adobe Journey Optimizer / Adobe Journey Orchestration
Implement triggers, decision splits, personalization logic, and orchestration flows
Validate audience segmentation and ensure accurate data mapping for journey entry and progression
Monitor live journeys and troubleshoot performance or delivery issues
Email Campaign Development (Batch/Single Send campaigns) Execute end-to-end batch email campaign builds, including audience selection, QA, and deployment
Configure templates, dynamic content, and personalization using approved assets
Partner with Channel Leads and Marketing Managers to ensure campaigns meet business goals and timelines
Conduct thorough QA testing (proofing, links, personalization logic, suppression rules)
Collaboration & Workflow Management Work closely with Audience Builders (Data Analysts), Channel Leads, Creative, Legal, and Technology teams
Ensure campaigns meet compliance and regulatory requirements
Participate in campaign intake, project planning, and delivery status updates
Maintain clear documentation of builds, requirements, and QA results
Quality Assurance & Optimization Perform campaign end-to-end QA across multiple scenarios and audience segments
Identify opportunities to improve campaign execution processes and efficiency
Support A/B testing and performance tracking by ensuring accurate setup
Maintain high standards for accuracy, timeliness, and brand consistency
Data & Compliance Adhere to data governance, privacy, and consent requirements
Ensure proper use of customer data across all communications
Support audit readiness through documentation and process adherence
Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience in marketing campaign execution or marketing automation
Hands‑on experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer / Adobe Journey Orchestration, Adobe Campaign, or similar platforms
Experience building and deploying batch email campaigns
Strong understanding of segmentation, personalization, and customer data usage
High attention to detail with strong QA and testing discipline
Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications Experience in financial services, banking, or highly regulated industries
Familiarity with compliance, legal review processes, and regulatory requirements
Experience working within structured marketing delivery frameworks or agile environments
Knowledge of HTML/CSS for email troubleshooting and template edits
Knowledge of Handlebars JavaScript, Ampscript (Salesforce), or similar data language used for dynamic content personalization.
Experience with cross‑channel orchestration (email, SMS, push, etc.)
Familiarity with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) or Customer Data Platforms (CDP)
Understanding of campaign performance metrics and testing methodologies
