The position of Choral Director selects, prepares and presents an elementary choral production.
This list is intended to be illustrative rather than complete and serves to show major duties and responsibilities and does not express or imply that these are the only duties to be performed by the incumbent in this position. The employee will be required to perform any other position-related duties requested by the Principal.
1. Select and requisition all music for choral performances.
2. Establish dates and schedule all facilities needed for choral performances and rehearsals.
3. Arrange for student supervision for all performances.
4. Arrange for stage preparation and technical assistance for performances.
5. Publish programs for performances when appropriate.
6. Provide accompaniment for choral performances when needed.
7. Prepare and conduct student performances.
8. Organize and conduct the student talent show.
