Overview Konica Minolta currently has an exciting opportunity for a Public Sector Account Manager .
Drive revenue growth within the public sector by winning new government business, expanding existing accounts, and maximizing contract value. Leverage expertise in government contracting, procurement vehicles, and agency engagement to consistently exceed sales targets and build a strong pipeline.
Responsibilities Own a territory and deliver against revenue targets through new business acquisition and account expansion
Identify, pursue, and close opportunities within federal, state, and local government agencies
Leverage contract vehicles and cooperative purchasing agreements to accelerate deal cycles
Build and maintain relationships with agency leaders, procurement officials, and key decision-makers
Lead end-to-end sales process, including prospecting, pipeline development, RFP responses, and closing
Develop winning bid strategies, pricing models, and proposals aligned to customer requirements
Maintain an accurate, high-volume pipeline and forecast to ensure consistent quota attainment
Drive retention and upsell opportunities within existing accounts to increase long-term revenue
Partner cross-functionally to remove barriers and accelerate deal execution
Key Competencies Strategic thinking and territory planning

Analytical and forecasting capabilities
Cross-functional collaboration and leadership
Qualifications 5+ years of quota-carrying experience in public sector or government sales
Proven success closing complex deals through contract vehicles and RFP processes
Strong understanding of government procurement and compliance requirements
Demonstrated track record of pipeline generation and exceeding revenue targets
Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools
Bachelor\'s degree preferred
Willingness to travel within territory
