Production Supervisor- C Shift

About the Role

We have a current opening for a Production Supervisor and are actively reviewing applications. The role supervises the team members on the production lines, supports the iconic Baby Ruth Butterfinger and Nutella Peanut brands, and focuses on teamwork, safety, and sanitation. The Production Supervisor reports to the Production Manager and leads the line team during shifts, ensuring tools, supplies, and equipment are available and used correctly.
Schedule

3rd Shift: 9:30p–6a. Must have flexibility to work weekends on a rotational basis.
Main Responsibilities

Oversee daily activities associated with the optimization of production factors (material, method, labor force, and machinery)
Responsible within the assigned shift for all production phases within area of competence (Preparation, Packaging, etc.)
Partner with the Production Manager regarding resource allocation (medium term) and skill development
Apply defined criteria to resource management on the lines (changes, break substitutions)
Follow escalation process, including managing personal conflicts between line resources, leading disciplinary meetings, and recommending disciplinary measures
In partnership with HR, select line personnel and provide evaluations for new hires
Responsible for applying all necessary measures to avoid incidents in the workplace and to reduce absences of line employees
Provide insight to define guidelines for skill development for line employees
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree preferred
At least 3 years of supervisory experience
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, machinery, stock management, and production models
Strong experience in the application of production performance analysis methods
Strong data analysis skills, ability to troubleshoot technological problems, and knowledge of production scheduling
Demonstrated problem‑solving and leadership skills with the ability to direct production employees proactively and positively
Proficient with software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; SAP experience is a plus
Salary and Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $71,000–$94,000 annually. Compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job‑related factors permitted by law. In addition to base salary, the position includes a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits.
