Documentation Governance

The Technical Writer will produce high-quality, API-driven documentation and cross-domain guides, acting as a bridge between engineering outputs and end-user understanding.

Key Responsibilities:

Write documentation directly from API specifications, including webhook documentation without requiring engineering walkthroughs

Develop cross-domain journey guides spanning multiple applications (up to 4+ systems)

Own and maintain changelog voice and narrative, translating technical updates into user-impact language

Standardize and maintain release notes and documentation consistency

Drive brand adoption of canonical documentation standards across teams (e.g., KFC + TB ecosystems)

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong experience in technical writing for APIs and developer platforms

Ability to interpret OpenAPI specs, webhooks, and backend systems

Experience creating end-to-end user journey documentation

Excellent written communication with focus on clarity and usability

Experience working across cross-functional teams (engineering, UX, product)

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $18.49/hour - $28.89/hour.
