Role: Engagement Manager - Credit Risk Strategy

Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience within the Banking or FinTech industry

Team Management: Ability to lead a team of approximately 5 offshore members

Location: New York (2-3 days/week in-office)

Salary: $160K-$180K base + 15% variable bonus

Role and Responsibilities

Primary day-to-day client contacts and often interact with C-level executives.

Analyze volume & funnel trends to optimize pricing and impact on RoEs.

Analyze credit performance and come up with recommendations to optimize credit policies.

React to market dynamics on third party channels and help senior management make informed decisions.

Act as a channel manager for certain origination channels in terms of managing credit policies, running tests and optimizing pricing.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with and drive alignment among various stakeholders across the organization.

Manage Offshore Team: Lead and coordinate (incl. project planning) with offshore team for analytical support and to ensure seamless execution.

Candidate Profile

7+ years of experience in Credit risk strategy, along with in consulting, solution design and client management.

SQL, Python.

Origination channel manage experience.

Credit cards/lending expertise (Acquisitions/Underwriting).

Excellent communication, presentation and story building skills in a consulting setup.

Demonstrable leadership ability, superior problem solving and people management skills.

Master's degree in economics, mathematics, computer science/engineering, operations research or related analytics areas; candidates with BA/BS degrees in the same fields from the top tier academic institutions are also welcome to apply.
