Position Summary:The Digital Specialist is responsible for designing, producing and editing high-quality social media and creative content across client accounts. This role is focused on graphic design, video production and content creation, from concept development and on-site content capture to video editing, motion graphics and monthly asset delivery, while supporting account teams in executing social strategies.This individual is highly visual, trend-aware and hands-on, with strong design and video editing skills and the ability to translate brand voice into compelling digital content. While client-facing, this role supports account leads and does not own overall account strategy.Duties/Responsibilities: Content Creation & Production (Primary Focus)Lead content development for assigned clients, including:Monthly content shoots (photo + video)Shot lists, mood boards and creative directionReels, short-form video, stories and static graphicsCapture and edit high-quality photo and video contentEnsure all content aligns with brand voice, visual identity and platform best practicesStay ahead of trends and proactively bring new content ideas to clients and internal teamsCreative & Design ExecutionDesign social media graphics, creative assets and visual content using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and other design tools.Support email design and visual storytelling initiatives as needed.Maintain a high standard of visual quality and brand consistency across all deliverables.Content Planning & DeliveryBuild and organize monthly content calendars in collaboration with account teamsDeliver content on time and aligned with campaign goalsAssist with scheduling and publishing as neededClient Interaction & CollaborationAttend client meetings and content shootsPresent content ideas and creative conceptsCollaborate with PR and account teams to align content with broader campaignsSupport (not lead) client communication and executionRequired Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple content deadlines in a fast-paced agency environmentProven ability to create engaging, platform-specific social media content (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube)Strong photography and videography skills, including composition, lighting and framingProficiency shooting content using Canon DSLR cameras, iPhone and mobile-first setups, and gimbal stabilization equipmentExperience editing photo and video content for social (Reels, TikToks, Stories, short-form video)Strong visual eye with an understanding of brand aesthetics, composition and design principlesAbility to translate brand voice and tone into compelling, on-trend contentWorking knowledge of social media trends, formats and platform best practicesBasic understanding of social media performance metrics and what drives engagementCreative thinker with the ability to concept fresh, relevant content ideas consistentlyRequired Experience:3-5 years of experience in content creation, social media and/or graphic designProven experience producing photo and video content for social platformsExperience working with food & beverage, nonprofit and/or consumer brands preferredAgency experience is a plus
