About the Job
We are seeking a Digital Specialist to implement technology tools used by our Field Teams. This role will be the primary point of contact for addressing technical issues, providing solutions, managing assets, and ensuring effective communication across teams. The Digital Specialist reports directly to the Digital Lead.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Ensure proper use of technology tools to capture required data and resolve technical support issues reported by field teams.

Monitor tool usage to accurately capture field data.

Track, manage, and resolve technical issues submitted through support tickets promptly.

Manage all technology items related to the Reality Capture Program, including Drone Deploy, Openspace, and Argyle.

Ensure all technology assets are fully functional and each OSC jobsite is equipped with necessary digital tools.

Oversee daily RCP asset uploads across all OSC jobsites to maintain data consistency and completeness.

Oversee procurement and deployment/installation of all RCP‑related technology assets.

Collaborate with Field Teams and Technical Leads to ensure RCP data is reviewed and used for project insights.

Collaborate with IT to ensure compatibility of future RCP technology assets with existing infrastructure.

Review data produced by all technology asset tools—Drone Map Plans, OpenSpace field notes, and Argyle Observations—to identify discrepancies, errors, or areas requiring follow‑up.

Oversee and manage the Offshore Team that reviews and validates all data generated by technology assets.

Coordinate with the VDC team to acquire accurate, up‑to‑date drawings for the technology tools.

Manage the Site Surveying/Printing Technology Tools (e.g., Dusty, Emlid, Total Station).

Collaborate with JPI Trades to ensure technology tools deliver accurate and relevant data.

Coordinate with the Technical Lead and Field Teams to develop clear timelines and effective plans for site surveying and on‑site printing.

Manage placement and installation of GCP points for RCP‑related technology items.

Plan and execute accurate placement and installation of monuments across all buildings.

Verify precision of monument placements to ensure alignment with project specifications and technology requirements.

Plan and execute use of technology tools (e.g., Dusty) before framing starts.

Expectations

Act as a representative and advocate of JPI’s culture and guiding principles.

Work 5 days a week (Monday–Friday) with physical co‑location and OSC jobsite presence as needed.

Daily collaboration across teams.

Thorough knowledge of daily on‑site activities in conjunction with the technology tools.

Manage all technology tools across OSC projects.

Education, Work Experience, & Physical Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.

3–5 years of experience in a business or professional setting, inclusive of non‑profit or government roles.

Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

Proficiency in using business software and technology tools, including Drone Deploy and Bluebeam.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Must possess Part 107 certification and any other license required for the technology items.
