translate trend, cultural, competitive, and fabric insights into elevated, commercially successful product
design across athleisure and outerwear categories with strong understanding of silhouette, proportion, comfort, functionality, and performance
research emerging trends, fabrics, trims, washes, and white space opportunities relevant to the Comfrt customer
create detailed tech packs, CADs, BOMs, and construction callouts for accurate execution
partner closely with Fabric and Product Development and overseas vendors throughout development, fittings, proto reviews, and production
participate in fittings and provide direction on fit, comfort, construction, and garment functionality
develop seasonal color palettes and support cohesive assortment building across categories
create and manage visual line plans to support merchandising strategy and product flow
design within cost targets while maintaining elevated product integrity
manage multiple projects simultaneously in a high SKU count, fast-paced environment
collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandising, Marketing, Creative, Product Development, and Production teams to bring product to market quickly and successfully
Requirements
7+ years in apparel design with a portfolio showing exceptional taste and commercial success
athleisure and/or outerwear design experience preferred
proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and ideally 3D design tools
highly knowledgeable in textiles, garment construction, fit, and performance fabrics
experience managing development calendars, vendor communication and navigating production realities
strong understanding of garment costing and timelines
