Relationship Manager, Assistant Vice President - State Street Investment Managem

Overview

State Street Investment Management’s US Institutional Client Coverage Group is hiring an Associate Vice President (AVP) Relationship Manager (RM). In this role, the RM will deliver an exceptional client experience across the full lifecycle of assigned institutional client relationships, strengthen relationships, support retention, and identify opportunities for growth.
Responsibilities

Manage day‑to‑day needs of assigned institutional clients, focusing on business retention and increased visibility.
Develop a strong understanding of State Street Investment Management’s investment and operational capabilities, service offerings, culture, and vision to diagnose issues and solve problems effectively.
Build cross‑functional relationships across Client Coverage Group, Client Business Office, Operations, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and other internal teams to support the end‑to‑end client lifecycle.
Partner with colleagues on client engagement initiatives, complex client matters, and broader efforts to improve client experience.
Support client onboarding and change events, ensuring a thorough understanding of client expectations.
Partner with business development teams on strategic client growth and sales initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in an institutional client‑facing role at an asset management firm.
Proficiency in navigating complex client relationships and delivering solutions that support client goals.
Strong organizational, project planning and execution skills.
Ability to lead, prioritize and execute multiple simultaneous priorities and initiatives.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a positive, can‑do attitude.
Additional Requirements

BS or BA required; MBA preferred.
Series 3, 7 and 63 required or must be obtained within six months of hire.
Compensation

Salary Range: $80,000 – $140,000 APR.
