Candidates must be located within 90 miles of Lansing, MI. The work schedule is hybrid with two days onsite and three days remote.

Overview:

Our client's team is seeking to hire a Web Accessibility Analyst to conduct reviews for adherence with the Digital Standards for Websites and Applications, which include standards for branding and digital accessibility. The contract has potential to extend beyond 2 years based upon needs.

Job Responsibilities:

Conduct reviews of websites and applications and documents for adherence with the Digital Standards for Websites and Applications
Test for digital accessibility using manual and automated tools including screen reader and other assistive technology
Review for adherence with additional standards including branding
Perform testing on desktop and mobile devices
Thoroughly document review results
Provide results to application support teams and stakeholders and meet with teams to explain results
Work closely with team members to ensure processes are followed and optimized
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:

1+ years of testing applications for digital accessibility
1 year working with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
Advanced knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA
Advanced skills using assistive technologies like JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack
Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of testing applications for digital accessibility
Certification related to WCAG
Previous government experience
