Job Duties

Conduct reviews of SOM websites and applicationsanddocumentsforadherence with the SOM Digital Standards forWebsites and Applications

Test for digital accessibility using manual and automatedtoolsincluding screen reader and other assistive technology

Review for adherence withadditionalstandardsincluding branding

Performtestingondesktop and mobiledevices

Thoroughly document review results

Provide results toapplication supportteamsandstakeholdersand meetwith teams to explain results

Work closelywitheMichiganteam memberstoensure processes are followed andoptimized

Other duties as assigned

Requirements
Education

Some college

Required Skills

1+ years of testing applications for digitalaccessibility

1 yearworking with WebContentAccessibilityGuidelines (WCAG)

Advanced knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines(WCAG) 2.1 Level AA

Advanced skills using assistive technologies like JAWS, NVDA,VoiceOver, TalkBack

Preferred Skills

3+ years of testing applications for digital accessibility
