JOB OVERVIEW
Looking for an experienced engineer to design and develop

audio‑focused analog/mixed‑signal ICs , with emphasis on

Class‑D amplifiers, power management, and audio signal chain blocks . The role spans the full silicon lifecycle from architecture to validation.

Responsibilities

Design

audio IC blocks

(Class‑D amplifiers, ADC front‑end, analog signal chain)

Develop

analog/mixed‑signal circuits

(regulators, bandgap, POR, ADC, comparators)

Perform

PVT, Monte Carlo, and layout simulations

Drive

silicon bring‑up, debug, and characterization

Design

power management systems

for audio applications (multi‑voltage, protection circuits)

Collaborate with layout, validation, and test teams; support customer discussions

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related field

Prefer candidates with specialization in Analog / Mixed‑Signal IC Design or VLSI

PhD is a strong plus for advanced design roles

Relevant coursework should include

Analog and mixed‑signal circuit design

Semiconductor devices and CMOS design

Power management and amplifier design

Experience with SPICE/Cadence tools is highly preferred

Experience

6–10 years of experience

in analog / mixed‑signal IC design

Hands‑on experience with

silicon validation and debugging

Highly Preferred

Experience with

audio IC design

(e.g., Class‑D / Class‑AB amplifiers, audio signal chain)

At least one successful tapeout

Experience in

low‑power and high‑efficiency designs

Core Technical Skills

Audio architectures (Class‑D amplifiers, ADC signal chain)

Power management (regulators, UVP/OVP, POR)

Simulation & Design Skills

Post‑layout simulation and parasitic extraction

Stability, noise, and mismatch analysis

Tools

Verilog‑AMS (nice to have)

Silicon & Lab Skills

Silicon bring‑up and characterization

Bench testing with:

Signal generator

Spectrum/audio analyzers

Programming / Automation

Python / MATLAB (nice to have for test automation)

Personal characteristics

Team player

Proactiveness in collaborating and execution

Flexibility to switch technical context

Willingness to learn new methods/tools/processes

Ability to prioritize, multitask, and take ownership

Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

The annual salary range for this role is $160,000 - $200,000 per year.

The Annual Salary depends upon various job‑related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs, and market demand. This range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
