Get to know Thompson! We were founded in 1886 as an orphanage and have grown into an organization operating across the Carolinas and into Florida with new operations expanding in Tennessee. Thompson’s continuum of care encompasses three domains: prevention services, foster care, and mental health. All Thompson programs are trauma‑informed and evidence‑based/evidence‑informed with the intention of building resilience in our clients (ages 0‑18) and their families, both virtually and in person. Our values are Excellence, Innovation, Commitment, Caring and Integrity!
About the Role For 140 years, Thompson Child & Family Focus has stood beside children and families in their hardest moments. Now we’re bringing that same commitment to relative caregivers across the Chattanooga region — grandparents, aunts, uncles, and other relatives who stepped up for a child with little notice and even less preparation.
We’re looking for a Program Supervisor who knows what it looks like when kinship case management works — and who won’t accept anything less from their team.
What You’ll Do Lead a team of Kinship Case Manager Navigators serving relative caregiver families throughout Hamilton County and the surrounding region. Attend case reviews every week, file audits every month, and assist Navigators in complex cases. Keep detailed knowledge of your team’s caseloads.
