For our client, we are seeking a VP Public Relations to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space. This role will drive marketing initiatives focused on growth, customer acquisition, brand performance, and measurable demand creation. You will collaborate with analytics, product, creative, and commercial teams to turn market insights into scalable campaigns, testing strategies, and performance improvements. The position offers the opportunity to directly influence customer engagement, conversion performance, and revenue growth within a technology-driven environment.
Location: San Francisco, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $200,000 – $250,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive public relations strategy
- Advise executive leadership on media strategy and external messaging
- Transform business strategies and innovation into compelling narratives
- Establish PR metrics to measure impact and inform strategy adjustments
- Enhance media presence by building relationships with journalists and industry outlets
- Identify and leverage media opportunities that highlight company leadership
- Manage corporate communications and oversee reputation management initiatives
Qualifications
- 15+ years in public relations or strategic communications with leadership roles
- Experience within healthcare, health technology, or life sciences sectors
- Demonstrated ability to enhance corporate reputation and secure media coverage
- Success in influencing stakeholders and managing PR initiatives without direct reports
- Expertise in media relations, corporate communications, and crisis management
- Strong strategic thinking and storytelling skills related to market trends and technology
- Exceptional communication skills for diverse audiences, both written and verbal
