The RoleGovernment Executive is seeking a Senior Reporter to join our newsroom covering the federal workforce, agency leadership and Congress. You will report on federal agency operations and management, focusing on agencies such as Homeland Security, Treasury, State and Veterans Affairs, the Social Security Administration, and how White House decisions impact career federal employees. You will also cover key developments on Capitol Hill, including oversight hearings, government shutdowns, funding and policy debates, and legislation shaping federal agencies and the workforce. This position reports directly to the Executive Editor.
