This deal management advisor will be a part of the revenue management team.

What does Deal Management & Pricing Strategy bring to Cardinal Health
Revenue Management is responsible for developing, communicating, and leading the execution of market strategy and profitability optimization through pricing and value-capture activities at both the strategic and tactical levels. The group uses modeling, analytics, and econometrics to create pricing strategies for our products and distribution services.

Within Revenue Management, the Deal Management & Pricing Strategy team owns the end‑to‑end process for Cardinal Health Brand Medical products, from pricing strategy through deal modeling and win loss analysis. This team plays a critical role in ensuring that pricing decisions and deal structures align with financial goals, market conditions, and long‑term strategy.

This role is responsible for owning pricing strategy and deal modeling for specific Cardinal Brand product categories, acting as the key strategic partner to Marketing, Sales, and Finance. The position requires strong analytical skills, business and financial acumen, and the confidence to influence decisions and advocate for strategic pricing recommendations.

This role operates with high visibility to Senior Vice Presidents and above, supporting leadership reviews of deals and pricing strategies while driving alignment across stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Pricing Strategy & Category Ownership

Serve as the primary pricing strategy lead for assigned Cardinal Health Brand Medical product categories

Develop and execute pricing strategies based on market dynamics, financial targets, and competitive positioning

Act as the key strategy driver for the category, regularly partnering with and influencing Marketing and Finance

Confidently voice recommendations and challenge assumptions to drive the best business outcomes

Partner with Marketing and GOSC to build pricing strategies that account for volume impacts on cost and long‑term profitability

Deal Modeling & Approval Process

Lead financial modeling of customer deals, including scenario analysis and profitability evaluation

Translate pricing strategy into customer‑specific deal structures and pricing recommendations

Support and facilitate the deal approval process, including preparation for senior leadership discussions

Ensure accuracy and alignment of all financial assumptions, pricing inputs, and deal outcomes

Analytics, Market Intelligence & Insights

Extract, manipulate, and analyze data from internal systems and external benchmarking tools

Leverage insights to develop pricing strategies and support deal decisions

Conduct win/loss analysis and market intelligence assessments to refine strategy

Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve margin performance and pricing effectiveness

Cross-Functional Leadership & Communication

Collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to align on pricing and deal strategy

Present pricing strategies, deal models, and recommendations to senior leadership (SVP level and above)

Translate complex financial and analytical findings into clear, actionable insights

Operate with high accountability, adapting quickly to meet evolving business needs

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred

3+ years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, deal modeling, or related field, preferred

Strong understanding of financial modeling and profit & loss (P&L) statements required

Experience working with data analytics tools, benchmarking platforms, and multiple data sources

Demonstrated ability to:

Analyze complex datasets and generate actionable insights

Build and present data‑driven recommendations

Influence stakeholders and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization

Anticipated Salary Range: $80,900 - $103,950 annually
