Job Store Staffing is hiring Production Technicians for a growing aluminum extrusion and manufacturing facility in Colorado Springs. No manufacturing experience is required! We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who are eager to learn and work in a fast-paced production environment. Employees receive on-the-job training and opportunities to grow through cross-training in multiple production areas.

4:30 PM
Pay: $15.35 per hour
Job Responsibilities
Assist with daily manufacturing and production operations.
Load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility.
Operate production equipment and machinery while following all safety procedures.
Perform assembly, packaging, deburring, finishing, and material handling tasks.
Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications.
Read and follow blueprints, sketches, work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
Measure and verify parts using calipers and other precision measuring tools.
Communicate equipment issues, quality concerns, and production needs with team members.
Learn to operate a variety of manufacturing equipment and production work cells.
Assist with packaging and shipping functions as needed.
Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow all company safety policies and quality standards.
Assist other departments as needed to meet production goals.
Be flexible and willing to work in different production areas as assigned.
Qualifications
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Basic math, measurement, and computer skills.
Willingness to learn new equipment, processes, and production techniques.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Previous experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, assembly, packaging, shipping, or general labor.
Experience using hand tools and measuring equipment such as calipers.
Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is helpful but not required.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for up to 10-hour shifts.
Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling throughout the workday.
Ability to lift and carry 3050 pounds on a regular basis.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and productivity.
Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment around moving machinery and equipment.
