Escape Room Technician / Builder

OMESCAPE is looking for a practical, hands-on technician and game builder to help build, maintain and repair immersive escape room games. This role is ideal for someone with experience in carpentry / woodworking and low-voltage electronics.

Responsibilities

Build, install, maintain, and repair escape room props, puzzles, and scenic elements

Perform carpentry and woodworking tasks, including building furniture, hidden doors, cabinets, compartments, wall pieces, and set structures

Work with low-voltage electronics, including wiring, buttons, sensors, LEDs, magnets, relays, audio players, locks, and control systems

Troubleshoot game issues quickly and accurately

Repair or rebuild broken props, scenic pieces, furniture, and mechanisms

Assist with building new escape room games from concept to installation

Qualifications

Experience with carpentry, woodworking, cabinet building, set building, or prop fabrication

Experience with low-voltage wiring, basic electronics, sensors, LEDs, relays, switches, or magnetic locks

Comfortable using power tools and hand tools safely

Able to troubleshoot mechanical and electronic problems

Willing to learn new skills and work on different types of projects
