Job Description
Applications are being accepted for a 7-hour per day Accompanist position at Logan Fontenelle Middle School. Duties include supervising and interacting with students, basic computer skills, and other duties as assigned. Candidates should possess the following attributes:

Ability to read 4-8 part open score

Ability to play collegiate/professional level literature

Ability to follow conductor's gesture

Ability to play a variety of musical styles and/or genre

Ability to provide musical leadership

Ability or willingness to learn technological aspects of the position

This position is subject to a veterans preference. The hours are generally 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, however, additional departmental rehearsals and performances outside of the regular school hours will be required.

Required qualifications are that the applicant not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of himself/herself or others with or without reasonable accommodations, and must be capable of regularly attending to the duties of the position assigned and for the duration of the assignment.

This position is subject to a veterans preference.
