Job Summary
WOIO-TV is looking for an experienced, energetic anchor to join our morning news team. The anchor will create and deliver content across two networks and all of our streaming platforms, deliver breaking hard‑news stories with clarity and empathy, lead a morning news team, and be part of our investigative and special projects teams.
Responsibilities
Create and deliver content across two networks and all streaming platforms.
Deliver breaking and hard‑news stories with clarity and empathy.
Lead the morning news team committed to First Alert‑focused content.
Participate in investigative and special projects teams.
Qualifications/Requirements
Three years of anchoring/reporting in medium to large commercial television markets.
Strong newsroom leadership and collaboration skills.
Essential breaking news reporting skills.
Knowledge of AP style for digital platforms.
Degree in Journalism, Communications, or equivalent preferred.
Salary/Wage
$90,000 – $120,000/yr.
Shift and Schedule
Mon. – Fri. (or at Manager’s discretion)
