Job Overview

The GMP Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating activities within the assigned areas in the GMP program. This includes the company employees and other temporary employees engaged in the program. The supervisor will inspect areas, equipment, and working conditions to ensure compliance with sanitation, OSHA regulations and site‑specific SOPs.
Roles & Responsibilities

Perform duties of employees within the program assigned
Train, supervise and instruct employees in tasks, safety, policies, and procedures
Coordinate and monitor work activities, recommend training and issue discipline
Prepare written reports, such as pass‑downs, and/or weekly/monthly updates
Perform quality, service, and safety inspections
Track equipment inventory, and schedule maintenance and repair
Track supplies inventory
Monitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipment to assure safety compliance
Report employee personnel and customer issues to manager
Correct at risk behavior immediately, then report to the manager immediately
Provide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvement
Maintain records, i.e., training, inspections, attendance, and metric data
Familiar with supervisor responsibilities
Some travel may be required for this position
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, or a related field from a four‑year college or university with 1‑3 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: May be required to have a valid driver’s license
Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice
Supervisory Responsibilities

Carrying out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws
Interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; performance evaluations; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
Ensuring employees are properly trained on tasks and safety requirements
