Our OEM licensed PMAs and Test and Computation PMAs offer our customers viable solutions in the reduction of operational costs.The Jr. Product Manager provides support to the Product Management team to carry out the duties and responsibilities listed below.This is an on-site role based in Hauppauge, NY.Duties and Responsibilities:Develop and maintain strong relationships with Strategic PartnersRegularly schedule, prepare and conduct business reviews with Strategic PartnersProduce and maintain annual sales forecast (internal and with Strategic Partners)Review daily publications for market trends and intelligenceActively monitor daily bookings, sales and quote reports and take appropriate action where necessaryCoordinate and drive sales and marketing efforts in close coordination with Regional VP's, Sales Managers, Customer Support and other team members to develop and manage existing and new customer baseCreate strong customer relationships and actively participate in new account developmentGenerate monthly sales and market feedback reports (internally and for Strategic Partners)Continuously perform competitive pricing analyses to increase market share and profitabilityContinually update internal CRM database with product and customer specific informationMaintain a proactive and creative approach to reduce slow moving inventoryAssist with the launch of new product lines and/or special projectsConduct product training for new team membersRegularly schedule New and Lost Business Opportunity reviews with Sr. Product ManagerStrategically review and price long-term contracts and fixed-price agreementsPromptly respond and close open actions in a timely mannerActively seek ways to improve and maintain processesManage and maintain appropriate inventory levels in coordination with Supply ChainReview and approve purchase ordersKnowledge and Skills Required:Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI)Strong work ethic, sense of urgency and attention to detailMust be highly organized, responsive and motivatedMust possess strong follow-up and task tracking skillsExcellent interpersonal, verbal and written skillsStrong presentation and public speaking capabilitiesUnderstanding of pricing and gross profitStrong analytical and critical thinking skills to make informed decisionsMust be resilient and able to adapt and conform to the position requirementsCapable of working in a fast-paced team dynamicExperience and Education Required:Aerospace sales and/or distribution experience is preferredBachelor's degree or equivalentPhysical Demands / Environmental Factors of the Position:Travel to Strategic Partners and Customers as required
