Position Summary
The Regional Country Sales Manager – LATAM is responsible for leading, developing and executing the commercial strategy for the assigned country or region within Latin America. The role oversees the full sales cycle, market expansion initiatives and volume growth objectives while serving as the primary driver of brand positioning, customer engagement and competitiveness in the region, ensuring alignment with global and regional corporate goals.
Essential Functions
Share Kia's vision and strategic guidance with distributors in Central and South America and collaborate to develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business objectives, including negotiation and contract management.
Negotiate and manage the yearly sales Business Plan with distributors, leveraging price structure and competitiveness to drive whole/retail sales and achieve profit targets.
Forecast, budget and report sales and order forecasts, market analysis reports and country situational reports.
Analyze and manage each distributor's monthly sales and marketing programs, proactively identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
Manage distributor orders, sales and stock to maintain proper inventory levels, ensuring product availability and timely delivery to customers.
Analyze each country's market demand by brand and segment, leveraging insights to maximize sales and optimize product mix.
Maintain accurate demand plans to enable effective production planning and inventory management.
Monitor and analyze each country's retail and fleet sales, identifying trends and opportunities to optimize sales plans and improve performance.
Track and analyze competitors' sales trends to maintain the Kia brand's competitiveness and identify growth opportunities.
All other tasks or duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of relevant sales experience within LATAM countries.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Proven experience managing or leading multi‑country markets.
Multilingual capabilities are a plus.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Power BI.
Availability to travel; this position requires 15–25% travel.
