Working remotely, the part-time Junior Editor will run and improve editorial tools, review manuscripts for quality, and provide feedback to ensure high standards in published novels.
Key responsibilities:
Run editing tools on incoming book manuscripts and review manuscripts for quality output
Collaborate with the Content Team to support overall editorial processes
Provide detailed feedback and suggestions for improvements to editing tools
Required qualifications:
Native English speaker
3 years of professional editing experience, including 1 year in editing fiction
Excellent copyediting skills with a basic understanding of quantitative reasoning
Keen interest in utilizing AI to assist in editorial processes
Ability to attend meetings during San Francisco hours
