Job Overview Support Accident & Health underwriting business strategy by handling daily operations. Manage account service activities as the primary client contact. Analyze and provide recommendations on policy related documents to ensure underwriting intentions are documented and accurately communicated to the policyholder. Partner with Product Management to ensure legislative requirements and corporate communications translate appropriately onto policy related documents.
Location: Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Marblehead, MA; Plano, TX; or Edina, MN. Work Arrangement: hybrid – expected to be in the office 2‑3 days per week. Salary: $66,000–$123,500.
Responsibilities Provide all‑encompassing post‑sale customer service support for assigned new business and renewal block of business.
Support a dedicated team of Underwriters and Business Development Leaders to ensure smooth delivery of client services.
Collect required items to ensure timely policy issuance and underwriting requirements are met.
Validate document terminology fits contractual needs to protect QBE against risk and request additional documentation if necessary.
Maintain ongoing account relationships as the primary contact for claims and premium accounting post‑issuance, assist with collection process, and ensure commissions/applicable fees are accurate.
Identify and remediate all issues with strong attention to detail.
Manage new and renewal implementation processes for accounts, including scheduling and leading implementation calls.
Provide strategic guidance following implementation calls.
Build and maintain favorable internal and external relationships to deliver highest level of support, meeting or exceeding industry standards.
Assist with renewals, including producer outreach, renewal calls, and gathering of RFP data.
Participate in producer outreach calls with Business Development Leaders.
Assist Business Development Leaders with meeting scheduling, gathering marketing data, creating presentations, and reporting assistance as needed.
Review employer plan documents and amendments for alignment with policy language; lead collaboration to determine rate or policy term impact and evaluate risk to business operations and loss ratio.
Consult and advise management on trends in employer plan language and data quality of required reporting and final underwriting requirements; monitor policies and ensure changes in rates, terms, medical management and claims are handled with minimal risk.
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Strong customer focus and ability to develop strong customer relationships.
Clear, well‑organized communication skills, both written and verbal.
Effective organizational skills; manage and prioritize competing responsibilities concurrently and effectively.

Compensation & Benefits Compensation Package: base salary in the range $66,000–$123,500, plus eligible for QBE’s annual discretionary bonus plan based on business and individual performance.
