Overview
The Opportunity : Support Accident & Health (A&H) underwriting business strategy by handling daily operations. Manage account service activities as a primary client contact. Analyze and provide recommendations on policy related documents to ensure underwriting intentions are documented and accurately communicated to the policyholder. Partner with Product Management to ensure legislative requirements and corporate communications translate appropriately onto policy related documents.

Locations & Schedule

Location: Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Marblehead, MA; Plano, TX; or Edina, MN

Work Arrangement: hybrid, in the office 2-3 days per week

Compensation
The salary range for this role is between $66,000-$123,500. The salary offer will be decided based on role complexity, location, and candidate background. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may participate in QBE’s annual discretionary bonus plan based on business and individual performance.

Your New Role

Provides all-encompassing post-sale customer service support for assigned new business and renewal block of business.

Supports a dedicated team of Underwriters and Business Development Leaders to ensure smooth delivery of client services.

Collects required items to ensure timely policy issuance and underwriting requirements are met. Validates terminology fits contractual needs and requests additional documentation if necessary.

Maintains ongoing account relationships as the primary contact for claims and premium accounting post-issuance; assists with the collection process and ensures commissions/fees are accurate; identifies and remediates issues with strong attention to detail.

Manages new and renewal implementation processes for accounts, including scheduling and leading implementation calls; provides strategic follow-up guidance.

Develops and maintains favorable internal and external relationships to provide the highest level of support by meeting or exceeding industry standards.

Assists with renewals including producer outreach, renewal calls, and gathering RFP data; inclusive of producer outreach calls with Business Development Leaders.

Assists Business Development Leaders with meeting scheduling, gathering marketing data, presentation creation, and reporting assistance as needed.

Reviews employer plan documents and amendments for alignment with policy language; collaborates to determine rate or policy term impact and evaluates risk to operations and loss ratio.

Advises management on trends in employer plan language and data quality of required reporting and final underwriting requirements; monitors policies and ensures changes in rates, terms, medical management and claims are handled with minimal risk to the organization.

Develops strong underwriting knowledge and assists with final underwriting requirements.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications : Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Compensation is described above. This is the national range for listed locations. The salary offer considers role complexity, location, and candidate background. Eligible employees may receive an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.
