Product Media Coordinator (Part‑time, Hybrid)

We are seeking a part‑time Product Media Coordinator to support our product development and marketing teams by coordinating photography, videography, packaging, and brand guidelines. The position is 25+ hours per week and requires a hybrid schedule (3 days in‑office, 2 days remote).
Responsibilities

Create high‑quality photography and video assets for product development and marketing.
Coordinate and produce content for the marketing department and schedule media time blocks.
Organize weekly shoot lists and identify outside tools needed to demonstrate features.
Assist in evaluating packaging for continuous improvements and identify eco‑friendly options.
Communicate and collaborate directly with the VP, Product Development Manager, and Marketing Manager.
Prepare brochures, reports, newsletters, and other marketing or sales materials.
Assist with graphic design and create assets (e.g., covers, thumbnails) for the Inventors Corner Forum.
Work with the graphic designer and Product Development Manager to evaluate and update packaging design.
Maintain and update the Rack‑A‑Tiers general packaging guide.
Coordinate and maintain Amazon packaging guidelines and update product information as needed.
Assist the Product Development team with in‑house printing for labels and packaging and source cost‑effective print shops.
Support the creation of clear brand guidelines and maintain brand language guidelines.
Use the filming and photography studio to create product assets.
Edit photos and videos with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, CapCut, Canva, etc.
Collaborate with the President and Electrical Consultant by filming on various sites.
About You

Interest and experience in graphics and photo/video editing software such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator.
High interest in photography, filming, and content creation for product teams.
A desire to grow into a product‑development focused role.
Creative mindset and ability to implement design concepts.
High level of attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.
Strong communication, multitasking, and coordination skills across departments.
Ability to work autonomously with and without supervision.
Quick learner of new software and processes.
Willingness to travel to the warehouse and studio, including carrying equipment up and down stairs.
Qualifications

Minimum High School Diploma.
University degree or college diploma in photography, digital media, arts, business marketing, or related discipline (preferred).
Experience coordinating product photography and video shoots.
Experience with marketing and content creation.
Experience in a product development environment is a plus.
Working Conditions

Work on feet throughout the day and navigate a 3‑story building with stairs (no elevator).
Travel to different sites for filming (transportation provided).

Hybrid remote in Victoria, BC V8Z1C1. Candidates must be able to commute or relocate to Victoria, BC.
