Role Overview
As a Senior Product Manager, you will have true ownership over one or more live mobile/social casino games. This is a hands‑on, onsite role where you will lead a small product group (including Game Design and Data Analytics) and collaborate directly with engineers, QA, and artists. If you thrive on live accountability, real roadmap control, and shaping games from inside the studio, this role is for you.
Responsibilities
- Own the Roadmap: Take full accountability for the product roadmap, priorities, and live performance of your assigned games.
- Feature Lifecycle: Drive features smoothly from initial concept through to launch and live iteration.
- Live‑Ops Execution: Lead the planning and execution of live‑ops events, features, and in‑game experiments.
- Data‑Driven Decisions: Utilize data and player behavior analytics to guide product decisions and maximize player engagement.
- Strategic Trade‑offs: Make critical, high‑impact decisions balancing scope, quality, and overall product velocity.
- Functional Leadership: Provide guidance, mentorship, and leadership to game designers and data analysts within your team.
Qualifications
- Must‑Haves: 6+ years of product management experience specifically within games or live consumer products.
- Live‑Ops Expertise: Proven track record of shipping and operating live Free‑to‑Play (F2P) or economy‑driven games.
- Game Intuition: A strong, innate understanding of game loops, player progression, and monetization strategies.
- Agility: Comfortable making definitive decisions in fast‑moving, imperfect, and data‑rich environments.
- Work Model: A strong desire and willingness to work fully onsite as part of a collaborative, in‑studio team.
Nice to Haves
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
- Industry Focus: Direct experience within the mobile gaming sector.
Compensation & Perks
- Salary Range: $80,000 – $120,000 CAD (Exact compensation will be based on skills and experience).
- Work Model: Full‑time, In‑office / Onsite in Victoria, BC.
