Admissions Relationship Manager, Alpha - $200,000/year USD

Crossover · San Diego, CA, USA ·

Pay:
180.000 - 220.000
Job type:
Contract

Most admissions professionals focus on maximizing enrollment. This role exists to safeguard standards.
Alpha is constructing one of the world's most ambitious educational models. Our schools integrate demanding academics, technology-driven instruction, and elevated expectations for both students and faculty. Students routinely progress faster than national averages, and the evidence confirms it. Afternoons are dedicated to mastery, autonomy, and practical competency development. This approach is effective. But it depends entirely on enrolling the right families. That's your responsibility.
You will manage the complete admissions process for a campus, beginning with application and concluding with enrollment. This is not a role where you hand off responsibility. You own how families perceive us, how thoroughly they grasp the model, and whether enrollment decisions stem from the right motivations. You will evaluate alignment, facilitate substantive discussions, and advise "no" when circumstances warrant it. Maximum enrollment is not the objective. The objective is fit.
We welcome applicants from premium service backgrounds outside conventional education: independent schools, competitive programs, high-end hospitality, executive assistance, exclusive membership institutions, or entrepreneurs who have directly managed sophisticated client relationships from start to finish. What counts is your capacity to execute a personalized, multi-phase process with discernment, precision, and accountability. If your career has centered on delivering exceptional service where credibility, confidentiality, and experience define brand value, this position will resonate. Apply now to bring that caliber to meaningful work.
What You Will Be Doing

Managing the complete enrollment experience for prospective families, from initial inquiry through final onboarding.
Facilitating assessment dialogues to evaluate compatibility before offering recommendations or outlining subsequent actions.
Overseeing 20+ concurrent family engagements across various enrollment phases, with transparent tracking of progress and outreach.
Orchestrating campus visits, observation sessions, and commitment discussions that articulate results, standards, and ideal candidate profiles.
Ensuring precise CRM and enrollment documentation (HubSpot and SIS) to enable forecasting, triage, and service excellence.
What You Won’t Be Doing

Employing transactional or aggressive sales methods.
Accepting families who lack alignment merely to satisfy quotas.
Overseeing large teams or navigating complex hierarchical structures.
Distributing responsibility for the family experience across multiple functions.
Operating remotely. This position requires on-campus presence.
