Working closely with senior engineers, product partners, and your wider team, you will deliver well-defined features while growing your technical and operational skills. This role offers hands-on experience across the full software development lifecycle, with support to learn and progress.ResponsibilitiesProduce clear technical documentation aligned with architectural principlesBuild and maintain software with a focus on performance, resilience, extensibility, and securityImplement testing strategies that support confident deployment and service reliabilityWrite clean, maintainable code and participate in peer code reviewsSupport the operational health of services using logs, monitoring, and metricsParticipate in incident response and post-incident reviews with guidanceMaintain runbooks, documentation, and operational knowledge for owned componentsContribute to reducing technical debt and improving development workflowsRequirementsExperience contributing to production software in a professional engineering environmentProficiency in one modern backend stack (.NET/C#,, NET Core and familiarity with SQL or data skillsProficiency in Front end tech stack React or AngularUnderstanding of system design, domain modelling, and API design principlesExperience writing unit and integration tests and working with CI/CD pipelinesExposure to cloud and DevOps practices, preferably using AWSA security-minded approach aligned with secure software development practicesExperience working in Agile, cross-functional teamsAbility to learn quickly, collaborate effectively, and seek feedbackWork in a Way That Works for YouWe promote a healthy work/life balance across the organisation.
