ENGEDI ESPAÑOL WORSHIP LEADER

The main purpose of this position is to cultivate and lead excellent, Holy Spirit-inspired worship and to train up others to do the same as it pertain to the overall vision of Engedi’s Worship Arts for Engedi Español.

Passionate for worship and production

Ability to carry out the vision of the ministry

Effective administrative skills - including the ability to set goals, facilitate advanced planning and effectively manage ministry and personal schedules

Strong communication and writing skills

Gift of leadership and desire to develop leaders

Ability to recruit, develop and communicate with volunteers

Team player – humble, willing to champion the overall vision of Worship Arts, willing to defer to others, supportive of other Engedi ministries

Knowledge or ability to learn operating and training for lighting, audio, graphics

Is a partner of Engedi or is willing to become one upon joining staff

Tithes

Is in a CABLE (small) group or is willing to become a part of one upon joining staff

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead worship for the majority of weekend services at Engedi Español

Oversee weekly rehearsals

Oversee all aspects of the Sunday worship experience including rehearsal, tech production, service structure (via PCO) and pre-service prayer

Facilitate setup and teardown of all music and tech equipment for Engedi Español (when applicable)

Develop and train other worship leaders and production leaders using Engedi’s leadership pipeline

Meet weekly with Campus Pastor to review, plan and prepare for weekly services/events

Recruit, develop, and schedule worship and production team

Champion Engedi Creative Arts values and programming philosophy

Participate in other church-wide worship events throughout the year as needed (other campuses, conferences, retreats, etc.)

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

Participate in monthly staff meetings (2nd Monday of the month)

Participate in staff prayer meetings (every Monday)

Participate in Worship Nights

Attend staff retreats (twice annually, one of which is overnight)

OTHER DETAILS

Part-time, 25 hours/week position including vacation and personal days, cell phone reimbursement, subsidized onsite daycare at Holland Campus, solitude days, and matching 403b contributions

Reports to the Campus Pastor while working closely with the Worship Pastor
