ALS Optimization and Monitoring Engineer
This role is responsible for delivering well surveillance services under the ProductionLink Expert services. Optimize, troubleshoot, and improve artificial lift system performance to meet customer operational goals such as production, runtime, and uptime. Remotely adjust system performance as operating conditions change, maintain analytical artificial lift models in the platform, and capture successful impact events and case studies to improve market share.

Responsibilities

Deliver artificial lift well surveillance services under the ProductionLink Expert services to global customers using the ProductionLink platform.

Remotely adjust and optimize ESP (electrical submersible pump) systems to meet customer goals.

Identify successful impact events to support service value added.

Capture and generate successful case studies based on optimization actions delivered to customers.

Communicate with customers to recommend ESP optimization strategies.

Prepare, deliver, and present monthly KPI reports to customers to demonstrate progress and justify services.

Create and update well analytics models to evaluate sizing models against the system real‑time performance.

Follow customer‑customized communication protocols to meet operational requirements.

Communicate and collaborate with field personnel to troubleshoot system communications (SCADA) and Variable Speed Drive (VSD) setup.

Collaborate with internal teams to promote an HSE interdependent culture through weekly safety moment discussions and observations.

Communicate across direct organization and present to senior leaders in specific technical spaces and cross‑functional teams on how technologies interconnect and contribute to overall strategy.

Handle latitude in project techniques, choosing the right approaches based on technical know‑how.

Handle diverse clients in a region, following frameworks to negotiate client‑specific conditions.

Qualifications

Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or a high school diploma/GED.

Have a minimum of 4+ years of experience in Artificial Lift Systems.

Have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) system operations, technical support, or applications engineering.

Must be willing to work rotating shifts, 7 days on with 12 hours per shift & 7 days off.

Desired / Preferred Experience

Have a minimum of 3 additional years of experience in artificial lift systems, multi‑regional applications engineering, or field operations.

Have 2+ years of experience with multiple variable speed drives control settings and operating modes.

Have previous experience with ALS well surveillance systems.
