Real Chemistry is looking for an Account Manager to join our Medical Affairs Publications team.
What You’ll Do
Act as day‑to‑day client contact for publication work streams, providing regular status updates and managing client expectations on timelines, scope, and project plans.
Take responsibility for the day‑to‑day management of your account, including running internal meetings, delegating tasks, tracking status reports, and overseeing the overall flow of work.
Own and ensure delivery of medium/large client projects to the highest standards, within budget and agreed timeframes.
Maintain ongoing communication with the account lead on project progress, promptly alerting them to barriers and proposing solutions.
Understand the client’s business priorities and program strategy, staying informed of competitor activity.
Stay abreast of trends and developments in medical communications and the pharmaceutical industry.
Identify growth areas, proactively sharing new ideas for evolving existing programs or adding tactics.
Track market changes and seize new business opportunities by highlighting relevant experience and contributing to pitch presentations.
Assist with account financials and support the account lead in financial management.
Engage in continued professional development, working with your manager to identify training opportunities.

What You Should Have
Experience in publications within an agency setting (additional Medical Affairs experience desirable).
Working knowledge of ICMJE and GPP guidelines.
Publication database experience (e.g., iEnvision, PubsHub).
Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Independent thinker confident in taking ownership while collaborating as a team.
Professional presence with a sense of urgency and client‑service orientation.
Ability to communicate upward about deadlines and potential issues.
High energy and adaptability to fast‑paced, evolving environments.
Track record of delivering high‑quality work on schedule and on budget.
BA or equivalent work experience.
Pay Range
$65,000–$75,000
