Job Summary
WTAP is looking for a full‑time Anchor/MMJ for its weekend newscasts. The successful candidate will produce and anchor weekend newscasts, report three days a week during the weekday cycle, and post news, weather, and streaming video on the station’s web channel.

Duties & Responsibilities

Produce and anchor evening newscasts

Report as MMJ three days a week

Shoot and edit daily content for newscasts and digital platforms

Operate TVU and conduct live field shots

Generate story ideas and build local contacts

Work a flexible schedule to accommodate news events

Maintain strong journalistic ethics, judgment, and decision‑making

Qualifications & Requirements

BS/BA in journalism, communications, or a related field

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Strong professional social media skills

Valid driver’s license and a clear driving record
