Event Operations Technician
Job Summary
The primary purpose of this position is to execute all required event setups and customer service requests per business demands. This role also completes all C&W vehicle moves and may be assigned to moving furniture as needed. The position requires daily, frequent interaction with team members.
Responsibilities
Review all event reservations communicated by the Event Setup Lead/Supervisor.
Set up meeting rooms and supplementary spaces exactly to specification.
Follow proper safety measures, including wearing PPE, completing JSA and Take 5s.
Audit meeting rooms for cleanliness and defects and report needs or repairs to the Event Setup Lead/Supervisor.
Execute last‑minute moves, changes, and additions as instructed.
Execute passenger vehicle moves (drive, escort, park/placement, battery disconnect).
Support maintenance and compliance of all event storage areas as part of 5S.
Maintain flexibility to work overtime, all assigned shifts, weekends, holidays, and on‑call duties as needed.
Communicate positively and proactively with team members, customer employees, and vendors, demonstrating teamwork values.
Participate in continuous improvement processes.
Meet all physical requirements for the job.
Eligibility and Qualifications
High school diploma or approved GED.
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude through prior job experience or vocational schooling.
Knowledge of hand and power tools.
Valid state motor vehicle driver's license.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
