About the Role Were a growing startup on a mission to bring transparency and trust to the global food system. Were looking for a scrappy, driven Business Development Manager to help us grow our presence across North America particularly within the nutraceuticals, dietary supplements, and food ingredients space.
If you love wearing multiple hats, chasing opportunities, and turning relationships into impact, this is your kind of role. Youll be on the frontlines of our go-to-market strategy, securing pilot projects, closing deals, and helping us bring science-backed traceability to the food supply chain.
What Youll Do Own business development in North America: spot opportunities, open doors, and build momentum.
Engage with players in nutraceuticals, food ingredients, supplements, and agrifood.
Drive the full sales cycle from first intro to signed contract and ongoing engagement.
Work closely with our global teams (APAC, Europe, ANZ) to tailor solutions and align messaging.
Contribute to content, campaigns, and events were lean, and your voice will matter.
Help refine our commercial strategy as we scale from pricing to positioning to partnerships.
What Were Looking For 5-7 years in sales, biz dev, or partnerships, bonus if youve worked in nutraceuticals, dietary supplements, or food tech.
A science-friendly background (Food Science, Biotech, or similar).
Strong closer with a creative, consultative approach to selling.
Solid storyteller someone who can pitch with clarity, confidence, and purpose.
Startup energy: bias for action, self-directed, adaptable, and eager to build.
Tech-savvy with tools like HubSpot/Salesforce, PowerPoint, and Excel. Bonus: Canva, Figma, HTML/CSS.
Open to travel (~20 to 30%) for conferences, pitches, and partner visits.
