Position Overview
The General Manager of WNAA‑FM, NC A&T's licensed, listener‑supported college radio station, will oversee daily operations, strategic planning, budgeting, and community engagement. Duties include ensuring FCC compliance, fostering student engagement and training, managing fundraising and community outreach, and maintaining the station’s mission to provide diverse, educational, and culturally enriching programming for campus and the broader community.
Minimum Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Communication, Media Studies, Broadcasting, or a related field.
- Experience in radio broadcasting, media management, or a related area.
- Strong understanding of FCC regulations and public broadcasting standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Four years of progressive experience in broadcast radio and media environment management.
- Experience or skills in broadcast engineering.
