Program Management - Subcontract Manager - Level 5

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university

Supply Chain, Supply Chain Integration, or Logistics experience

Experience with subcontract cost, quality, schedule and/or technical program performance

Experience leading a team in a fast-paced environment, focusing on team growth

Responsibilities
Perform as the Global Supply Chain, Program Management – Subcontract Manager. Lead highly complex contracts with a LM Aero strategic supplier in General Dynamics. Requires experience with FAR 15, TINA negotiations, proposal compliance, purchase order compliance, SAP and delivery execution.

This position reports to the Sr. Manager of Global Supply Chain over F‑35 BAE UK teammate and AAE. Responsibilities include:

Managing all subcontract management activities with BAE UK teammate, including contracting and execution for sustainment lifecycles of the F‑35 Program

Leading a team of professional Subcontract Administrators/Managers

Coordinating with Subcontract Program Managers for cost, schedule, and supplier performance

Handling employee selection, hiring, training, development, performance assessments, work assignments, and disciplinary actions

Directing all phases of subcontracts from initiation through RFPs, proposals, negotiations, purchase orders, subcontract management, internal audits, cost accountability executive reviews, supplier reviews, program reviews, and associated metrics

Desired Skills

Demonstrated effective leadership skills to build organizational talent and foster a positive employee engagement environment

Experience with continuous improvement, implementing change, and driving efficiency

Experience attracting, developing, and retaining subcontract management talent to improve overall group performance

Experience with executive program reviews

Background and knowledge of FAR Part 12 and Part 15 procurements

Negotiation experience with Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA)

Background and knowledge of Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP)

Experience with delivery execution

Advanced SAP knowledge and experience

Domestic travel up to 10%
