Position: Public Relations Intern

Timing: This full‑time paid internship is 40 hours per week and runs late August 2026 – late November 2026 with the potential to be extended.

Position Overview
FleishmanHillard is a global integrated communications agency delivering transformational outcomes for some of the world’s biggest brands. The internship is based in our Minneapolis office, offers exposure to public relations, reputation management, public affairs, brand marketing, internal communications, digital strategy, social engagement and content strategy, and requires onsite work at least three days a week.

Responsibilities

Conduct research and analysis relevant to client accounts

Develop written materials such as social content, news releases and messaging

Manage social media and paid digital campaigns

Build and maintain relationships with journalists and media contacts

Identify influencers, stakeholders and external engagement opportunities

Support crisis planning and execution

Track, analyze and report on campaign results

Carry out other account‑related activities as needed

Qualifications

At least a 3.0 GPA

Previous relevant internship experience

Completed junior year of college (recent graduates preferred)

Full‑time availability throughout the internship period; not able to accommodate class schedules

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Innate curiosity and strong time‑management abilities

Desire to learn in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment

Commitment to cultivating diverse teams and contributing to an inclusive workplace

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Salary
The anticipated salary range for this position is $18–$19.23 an hour.
