We are seeking an experienced Marketing & Business Development Manager to develop and execute strategic marketing and business development initiatives that support attorneys, practice groups, offices, and firm-wide objectives. This role partners closely with attorneys and leadership to enhance client engagement, strengthen brand visibility, and drive business development through marketing campaigns, events, communications, and thought leadership initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic marketing and business development plans for attorneys, practice groups, offices, and the firm.
Manage marketing projects that help attorneys achieve business development and client growth objectives.
Plan, coordinate, and execute client-facing events, seminars, sponsorships, networking events, and speaking engagements.
Build and maintain relationships with regional and national professional organizations and industry associations.
Research market trends and identify opportunities for attorney visibility, media exposure, and thought leadership.
Coordinate media relations, external communications, and public relations initiatives.
Collaborate with business development teams to prepare client pitches, RFP responses, proposals, and presentation materials.
Develop, maintain, and update marketing collateral, including attorney biographies, practice descriptions, brochures, and experience lists.
Oversee CRM contact databases and mailing lists in collaboration with the Marketing Coordinator.
Support website content, blogs, and social media initiatives while ensuring content accuracy and consistency.
Coordinate legal directory submissions, surveys, and attorney ranking opportunities.
Partner with attorneys and firm leadership to execute marketing and public relations initiatives across multiple practice groups.
Ensure all marketing activities align with the firm's branding standards and strategic objectives.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
4-6 years of professional services marketing experience, preferably within a law firm or legal environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop proposals, presentations, and business correspondence.
Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
Self-motivated professional with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.
Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain strict confidentiality.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM platforms, website content management systems, and graphic design/photo editing software.
Willingness to work occasional evenings and travel as business needs require.
