Job Summary
The Staffing Business Development Manager is primarily responsible for developing new business and acquiring new accounts through researching prospects and building relationships with their key decision-makers.

Responsibilities

Sells, researches, and develops new account opportunities by understanding the current needs of the local market, including future projects and growth projections, using tactical selling techniques. Establishes relationships with new account prospects and acquires their business, achieving and exceeding all key performance metrics (55%).

Maintains client relationships and identifies growth opportunities within current clients by fully understanding their needs through active communication (20%).

Leads and manages recruiters, collaborating on recruiting techniques, key performance metrics, and tactics to fulfill client requisitions. Serves as the point of contact for recruiters regarding client needs and communicates client requirements (20%).

Documents all sales activity in CRM (5%).

KSAs (Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities)

Strong understanding of the local/regional business environment.

Excellent customer service and communication skills, both oral and written.

Excellent tactical skills, cold-calling capabilities, and strong sales acumen.

Strong relationship-building skills, especially with key decision-makers and C-level executives.

Experience with Microsoft Office and SharePoint.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or equivalent experience.

5+ years of experience and proven track record in agency staffing sales.

Compensation and Benefits
Compensation and Benefits-
In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the wage range for this role is $62,400 - $93,600. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
